Tattoo pain varies based on many different factors. There are commonly known 'more painful' areas to get tattooed, but it really does vary person to person. If you are concerned about pain level of a specific area, our artists always welcome breaks when needed, or can discuss alternate placement ideas if that is the route you would like to take.

Cancellation Policy
We take a deposit on booking - the amount will vary based on artist and is required to secure your appointment. All deposits are non-refundable, but will be taken off the total of your tattoo.
If you cannot make your appointment for whatever reason, we ask that you give us at least a week, if not two weeks notice. We understand that life happens and some instances this is not possible, in which case please let us know as soon as you can.
Whilst deposits are non-refundable, we can roll it over to a new appointment if you need to reschedule, if you let us know at least a week before your scheduled appointment. If you no-show or cancel within that week, you will lose your deposit and will need to provide a new deposit for re-booking.
If you are sick, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule you for a later date. Your health and the health of our artists and clients are our upmost priority.
Aftercare
Tattoo aftercare involves keeping the tattoo clean and moisturised, and avoiding activities that could irritate the area.
What to do:
Wash - Gently wash (with clean hands) the tattoo with mild soap and warm water, especially after sweating or getting dirty.
Moisturise - Apply a healing ointment (recommended by artist) to keep the skin moist and promote healing. Moisturise 2-3 times a day for about two weeks.
Protect from sun - Avoid direct sunlight for at least three weeks, and use sunscreen after that.
Avoid tight clothing - Don’t wear anything that rubs against the tattoo.
Avoid soaking - Don’t soak the tattoo in water for at least two weeks, including hot tubs, pools, and bathtubs.
Drink water - Staying hydrated helps keep the skin supple.
What to avoid:
Picking, scratching, peeling, or rubbing the tattoo
Exfoliating the area
Wearing jewelry or abrasive materials that rub against the tattoo
Letting others touch the tattoo without washing their hands
Using petroleum jelly
The healing process can take two to four weeks for the surface to heal, and three to six months for the tattoo to fully heal.
